WhatsApp announced a tool for users to make stickers from web app. This new feature will come to the desktop version next week.
As The Verge reports, this new built-in custom Sticker Maker will allow users to select images from their computer and turn them into stickers that can be sent via WhatsApp.
To start using this feature, make sure you are using the latest version of WhatsApp on the web. After that you need to click on the attachments icon and select Sticker and then choose an image to upload. After the images are uploaded, you also have the opportunity to edit them to turn them into stickers. It is also possible to remove or crop the background. You can even place emoji, text and additional WhatsApp stickers on top of your sticker creations.
On the other hand, WABetaInfo also published news regarding WhatsApp for Desktop saying that the app plans to expand the limit to delete a message. Users can now delete messages for everyone in a conversation within 1 hour, 8 minutes and 16 seconds. According to the post, WhatsApp also plans to change the time limit to seven days and eight minutes in a future update. Note that this feature is still under development. So WhatsApp may change its mind about expanding or limiting users’ ability to delete old messages.
