A breathtaking photo came from the Hayabusa2, which the Japan Space Agency used to model the Ryugu asteroid.
One of the greatest desires of mankind is to discover the secrets of space. For now, we cannot reach every point of the universe, we rely on spacecraft to do this.
The Japanese-made spacecraft, Hayabusa2, traveled to the asteroid of Ryugu and collected a sample of the meteorite. The photo from the vehicle contains an image of the surface of the meteorite. What makes the photo so important is that it contains the traces of this historical event.
The vehicle actually arrived in Ryugu in June 2018 and left vehicles in the box of detergent. (These small vehicles are moving in the tough terrain.)
Hayabusa2 recently collected samples from the celestial body. It is hoped that the vehicle collecting particles from the surface of the object that fires huge tantalum bullets on the surface of the object. Indicators indicate that the task was successful.
The photograph is one of the clearest photos taken from such a celestial body. The surface of the celestial body is clearly visible, and the surface protrusions of Ryugu are clearly visible. The darkness of the photograph taken in close proximity to the surface of the object is due to the shadow of Hayabusa2.
The photo was taken at the departure of the vehicle and only 25 meters above Hayabusa2 in this frame. Hayabusa2 will come back 2 more times and collect the sample and then return.
