The sudden increases in the exchange rate over the past days caused Apple, which had not changed its prices for a long time, to close its stores and website for sale. It was also clear that the reason for this closure was the price update. After keeping its stores closed for longer than we expected, Apple has reopened with a significant price increase .

Apple’s products appeared this morning with thousands of Dollars hikes. So much so that the price of the top model of the new generation MacBook Pro was increased by 9 thousand Dollars, while the price of the iPhone 13 Pro Max was increased by 5 thousand Dollars. When we look at these price hikes as a percentage, we see that the rate of change is almost 25% . Well, what was the difference between the change in Apple’s product price and the change in the exchange rate ? The results show that Apple does not reflect the full exchange rate increase .

Comparison between Apple’s hike rate and the dollar rate difference:

In the list we have prepared below, the price of Apple’s products at the time of their introduction and the dollar rate at that date, as in early October We took the fiyadollaryel and today’s post-raise fiyadollarsari and compared them with the changes in the dollar exchange rate. To conclude; Apple has hiked the prices of its products significantly, and for many of us, buying a new iPhone or Macbook has become a dream . However, when we compare the increase in the dollar exchange rate with the increase rates made by Apple, we see that Apple made hikes below the exchange rate increase in order to protect the purchasing power of consumers . So what do you think about this? Do you think Apple could have pursued an even more pro-consumer policy on price hikes?
