In Nigeria, 10 people died and 12 were injured as a result of a collision between a three-wheeled motorcycle and a passenger bus.
National Road Safety Organization Bauchi State Coordinator Yusuf Abdullahi told the Nigerian News Agency (NAN) that a three-wheeled motorcycle and a passenger bus collided on the Azare-Katagum road in the province.
Abdullahi noted that 4 people on the motorcycle and 6 people on the bus lost their lives and 12 people were injured.
Concerns about increasing death toll
Stating that the wounded were hospitalized and some of them were in severe condition, Abdullahi expressed concern that the death toll would increase.
