The emergency bill submitted to the National Assembly by the Hungarian Minister of Justice Judit Varga, which allows the government to issue decree-laws and suspend the implementation of certain laws, was passed with 133 “yes” votes against 55 “no” and 1 abstention vote.
The Hungarian government declared a 15-day emergency on November 4 in order to take quick measures against the epidemic and extended it for 3 months on November 10.
