TeamGroup has announced a pair of new PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSD solutions under the “Industrial” brand. The new M. 2 2280 SSDs (N75A-M80 and N75G-M80) are marketed with industrial-grade flexibility and patented cooling technologies for performance and reliability in 24-hour, high-workload environments.

Only three available capacities are available for Industrial N75A-M80 and N75G-M80 SSDs: 128GB, 256GB and 512GB. SSDs based on 3D DollarsC NAND chips have a DRAM cache and PCIe 3.0 interface. The drives, which are produced with a focus on performance and reliability, can reach 3,500 MBps sequential read and 2,100 MBps sequential write speeds.

The cooling systems between both SSDs differ slightly. The N75A-M80 carries a tall aluminum canadollar heatsink, while the N75G-M80 is supported by a 1mm high graphene copper foil heatsink. TeamGroup underlined that these patented cooling systems reduce operating temperatures and increase reliability under the toughest operating conditions. The company is 23% on N75A (long aluminum canadollars). A temperature drop of 8% and 8% for N75G (graphene copper foil). He said they offer a temperature drop of 3.

Operating temperatures for both industrial SSDs can range from -40 degrees Celsius to 65 degrees Celsius without any loss in operational capacity. These SSDs from the manufacturer have been developed for more business environments and also support AES256 bit encryption / TCG Opal 2.0 paired with error correction algorithms. Interestingly, TeamGroup only offers a 3-year limited warranty for its industrial SSDs.
