A new PassMark test result has emerged after some details about the dual-sokedollarsi Ryzen 5000 Threadripper configuration. According to the test tool, a total of 128 cores is obtained in a system with two 64-core Ryzen Threadripper Pro 3995WX CPUs. In the overall score comparison, the system outperforms a single Threadripper Pro 3995WX by 44%.
AMD has never officially mentioned support for two Threadrippers running on a single motherboard. That’s why it’s pretty surprising to see tesdollarser pointing to dual Threadripper Pro 3995WX processors.

As you know, Threadripper family does not directly address servers like EPYC family and professional users can buy these processors directly. At this point, the double sokedollarsi anakardollarsars that the red team can offer may offer new options to build some powerful systems.
When the two Threadripper Pro 3995WX are combined, it results in a total of 128 cores and 256 threads. These are tremendous values for any workload. Another exciting feature of the double-sochedollarsi motherboards is the theoretical double-doubling of memory capacity for Threadripper systems. When you add another CPU to a motherboard, it is necessary to add additional memory slots for that chip to use. Theoretically, Threadripper Pro could offer up to 16 memory channels and 4TB of memory capacity with the required DIMM slots.
AMD has not yet mentioned dual socket support for any Threadripper platform, but rumors and test results greatly strengthen these possibilities.
