Sony has announced the PS4 Remove Play as an additional feature along with the Xperia Z3s. PS4 Remote Play is now available on all Android devices with the new update.
When Sony launched the Xperia Z3, a new feature was added to the smartphone to gain power over its competitors: the PS4 Remote Play. The PS4 Remote Play provided a connection between the Xperia Z3 and PlayStation 4, which were connected to the same network, allowing console games to be played on the smartphone. To play console games from a smartphone, simply connect the Dual Shock 4 controller to the smartphone.
Sony’s PS4 Remote Play has long been limited to Sony’s smartphones. Sony had previously made a change to free iOS devices in March. With the new update, the PS4 Remote Play feature is now available for all Android devices except Xperia.
Sony has announced the release of the new PlayStation system software 7.00, which includes many new functions, including Remote Play. The key point of the 7.00 update is that PS4 Remote Play is now available on Android devices with Android 5.0 (Lollipop) and above. With the new update, the number of devices using the PS4 Remote Play application is greatly increasing.
Android and iOS users will first download the PS4 Remote Play application from their app market to use PS4 Remote Play. Than PlayStation 4 and smartphones will be connected to the same network. This way, the games on the console can be played from smartphones.
Dual Shock 4 wireless devices can be connected to smart devices via Bluetooth to control games. However, Sony, to use Dual Shock 4’s Android 10 you need to have a smartphone installed. Sony will launch PS4 Remote Play for Android tablets and phones on Android 5.0 later this week.
