AMD has released Ryzen Master version 126.96.36.1993 which offers full support for Ryzen 7 5800X3D processor and Ryzen Threadripper Pro 5000WX CPUs. However, with the update the Curve Optimizer feature has been included in the software, including both automatic and manual mode.
Curve Optimizer is a relatively new feature introduced two years ago to improve efficiency and performance on Ryzen 5000 processors. This feature can adjust the voltage according to the operating conditions in different situations where the processor is idling and under heavy load. Curve Optimizer basically works automatically and plays an auxiliary role in overclocking.
Precision Boost, on the other hand, can adjust clock speeds depending on various variables. The technology offered by AMD enables clock speeds to increase above average with additional voltage and thermal headroom despite the low voltage. All in all, one of the best ways to overclock Ryzen 5000 CPUs.
There were some issues on the BIOS side with AMD Curve Optimizer. With the latest update of Ryzen Master, all the problems have disappeared. Instant adjustments are now possible in Windows for a much more convenient voltage experience.
AMD offers an automatic Curve Optimizer feature in addition to the manual mode, according to the Ryzen Master patch nodes. Along with the automatic mode, you can adjust the voltage process with one click. However, we do not yet know how successful the algorithm created by AMD is.
Ryzen 5000 and Ryzen Threadripper Pro 5000WX processors will receive full enhancements. The only exception is the Ryzen 7 5800X3D, which does not offer overclocking support. However, it should be noted that in the new version of Ryzen Master, memory overclocking support is offered for the 5800X3D.
