Japanese PC maker Sycom has started selling a unique GeForce RTX 3090 Ti graphics card with a custom-built hybrid cooling system that uses up to five fans. Sycom’s dedicated graphics card can offer a GPU clock of 1.80 GHz at 65 degrees. However, the company’s G Master Hydro comes as a custom-built option for its high-performance desktop systems.
Sycom GeForce RTX 3090 Ti comes with Asetek’s GeForce RTX 3080/3090 Hybrid liquid cooling system with 240mm radiator, equipped with Noctua’s two NF-A12x25 fans to ensure quiet operation. Asetek’s system is used to cool the GPU and GDDR6X memory through a special memory cooling plate that has direct contact with the water block. Meanwhile, Sycom uses another three-fan cooling system to cool the board’s voltage regulator module (VRM).
As you know, NVIDIA’s flagship has a thermal design power (TDP) of up to 450W. Therefore, cooling is more important for GPU, GDDR6X memory and VRM. Sycom’s five-fan hybrid cooling system is especially appealing to end users who plan to overclock. The manufacturer says that its cooler reduces the temperature of the air-cooled GeForce RTX 3090 Ti by 10 to 15 degrees Celsius.
Let’s come to the performance benefits of the new hybrid cooling. Sycom claims that the graphics card maintains frequency speeds of 1.802 GHz for 20 minutes in the Final Fantasy XV tesdollarseries. In addition, temperatures can stay around 65 degrees for 30 minutes. This specially cooled RTX 3090 Ti model is designed for customers who want every last drop of performance from a GPU and can afford to pay high.
