It was announced that the RSA conference, one of the biggest cyber security events, was postponed until June, with the statement made by the organizers last Wednesday.
In an e-mail sent to the participants, it was underlined that it is difficult to organize the event in the near term due to the COVID-19 cases, which have recently started to increase in the world. Tens of thousands of cybersecurity experts from the industry were expected to attend the RSA event, which was planned to be held on February 7, 2022.
In the statement, it was stated that they were sorry for not being able to gather in February, but they believed that this is one of the most responsible steps to be taken to protect the life safety of the community due to the increasing COVID-19 cases.
It was also stated that the organizers will contact the registered participants, sponsors and speakers about the face-to-face RSA event, which will be held on June 6-9, 2022. At the beginning of the measures taken for the conference in the new year, the participants must have the COVID-19 vaccine and the use of masks indoors is mandatory.
