Thanks to its deep learning models and powerful artificial intelligence algorithms, Omoji can capture and recreate precise facial expressions, so users can create their avatars in the virtual world.

The ray tracing feature created for next-generation ray tracing mobile products can reproduce details in the real world and enrich the user’s viewing experience. OPPO has completed prototype development of this technology on mobile devices and plans to provide access to developers in the first half of 2022. Ray tracing technology has wide application potential in areas such as 3D live wallpapers, image filters and augmented reality.

The needs for information processing remain important and are becoming more and more common. Computing capabilities are expected to be much more efficient than before. OPPO introduced heterogeneous computing technology, which offers a performance and power optimization solution that can use different cores and different processors more efficiently. By using OPPO’s heterogeneous computing capabilities, developers will be able to more easily solve application performance problems and make programs run faster and more efficiently.

Today, people’s homes and workplaces are filled with more than one technological product, but cars are still not connected. Thinking that cars should be more integrated into people’s digital life, OPPO introduced the Carlink solution, which enables many functions such as opening car doors and transferring smartphones to vehicle screens. With Carlink, which has already established partnerships with more than 70 companies, OPPO will provide developers with more effective access to develop automobile-related products, and will contribute to the development of connectivity capabilities between smartphones and automobiles.

The conference also officially announced the establishment of OPPO Health, OPPO’s healthcare business, which focuses on preventive medical care and lifestyle changes. Powered by sensors, algorithms, data and biomedical engineering, OPPO Health aims to provide users and healthcare providers with continuous and long-term data, models and feedback to deliver better healthcare solutions.

Established in early 2021, OPPO Health Lab continues to work as a multidisciplinary R&D team focusing on areas such as sleep, sports, cardiovascular health and telemedicine. OPPO also announced an innovation for its healthcare partners. Providing support in data collection, analysis and application development, the ‘OPPO Health Research Kit’ is designed to assist collaborators in unique health research. It is aimed to transform this innovation into an independent application in OPPO’s health ecosystem.
