At the opening, the Dow Jones index fell more than 100 points and traded at 31,322.07 points, down 0.55 percent.

The S&P 500 index fell 0.64 percent to 3,881.81 points, and the Nasdaq index fell 1.10 percent to 13,722.13 points.

Indices, which completed the last week with a mixed motion, showed a downward movement at the opening of the new week.
