WhatsApp does not want users of spam messages to missing out and has introduced a new feature in beta that allows users to see messages routed from another chat.
WhatsApp wants to provide a more secure messaging environment for its users and warns users against spam messages with the new feature they are releasing to the beta version of Android. Now, whenever someone directs you to a message in another conversation, the message will be labeled ‘Sent’. With this tag, users can directly understand that messages are diverted from a different chat.
It is not clear if your feature will completely block spam messages. Because not just the spam messages that reach out to dozens of people, but an ordinary message that is forwarded once, the ‘forwarded’ label also appears. Nevertheless, users can report these spam messages to WhatsApp and help people who continuously send spam messages close their WhatsApp account.
If you want to see the ‘forwarded’ tag in forwarded messages, you must first update your WhatsApp to 2.18.179 beta. If you have not joined the WhatsApp Android beta program, you can become a WhatsApp beta user through the Google Play Beta Program by clicking here. Once you have installed the latest version of WhatsApp, you will be asked to forward a message to you from a nearby person who needs to do just one thing to test the feature
