One child was killed and 3 children were injured as a result of the explosion of military ammunition in Libya.
Osama Ali, Spokesperson for the Libyan Ministry of Health’s First Aid and Emergency Presidency, announced that an explosion took place in the Ayn Zara region south of the capital Tripoli.
The children found and played
Ali said the explosion was caused by military ammunition and it took place while the children were playing with the ammunition.
Noting that one child died in the incident and 3 children were injured, Ali stated that one of the injured was in severe condition.
Detailed information on the nature of the ammunition was not included.
