In March, Lenovo appeared to be preparing for a new phone just after it launched its S5 smartphone. Because the company is ready to introduce the phone’s successor, the S5 Pro.
As many rumors and leaks show, Lenovo’s new phone is the most important feature of the four-camera system will have. Today, Lenovo Group Vice President said in Weibo that the S5 Pro will be released on October 18th.
In fact, the Vice President could not stop himself from comparing the phone with the Mi 8 Lite and sharing camera samples. Directly comparing the optical zoom capability of the S5 Pro with the Mi 8 Lite, the Vice President explained the 2x zooming status of the students in the classroom, stating that the students were struggling to take a picture of the board.
The posters don’t provide any information about the technical specifications when verifying the quad camera system on the back. However, the previous rumors listed the phone’s features as follows:
Snapdragon 660 chips
A 6.18 inch 1080 × 2246 resolution display
3 / 32GB; 4 / 64GB; 6GB / 128GB RAM and storage options
Dual front and quad camera setup
Other standard connection features
Compared to Lenovo’s S5 Pro, the Mi 8 Lite has similar features, and the phone is available for 1699 Yuan (~ 245 dollars). So it would be wrong to expect Lenovo to follow a similar price policy.
