Lenovo is preparing to expand the Legion lineup with a new flagship laptop design. The refreshed Y9000K will be a Legion7 model notebook with liquid metal and a high-quality Mini-LED display with 1250 nits of brightness.

Revealed Lenovo Legion Y9000K Exploration Edition is powered by 11th generation Tiger Lake processors, not the new Intel 12th Alder Lake processors. For this model, Intel Core i7-1800H 8-core CPU is used and three GPU options will be offered: RTX 3060, RTX 3070 and RTX 3080. These GPUs of NVIDIA are made of variants known as Max-P and offer high performance with maximum TDP value.

The Y9000K Exploration Edition features a 16:10 panel with a 92% body-to-screen ratio. This is a 2560×1600 resolution display with a speed of 165 Hz and a brightness of 500 nits. However, the company says the laptop will go up to 1250 nits peak brightness with DisplayHDR 1000 certification and a 1152-zone Mini-LED panel. For this reason, all the features that content developers and players want come together.

Finally, it should be noted that there is no information about the release date of the new Y9000K laptop.
