Valorant does not work on systems that do not meet the minimum system requirements for Windows 11. The latest system requirements for Windows 11 include TPM 2.0, Secure Boot, and a next-generation processor. In the light of these developments, Valorant set TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot requirements, but why?

Riot Games added extra limidollarser to the game to both comply with Windows 11 regulations and prevent cheats. Thanks to TPM 2.0, when cheaters are banned, they will not only have to format but also reset the TPM 2.0 key in order to re-enter the game. Of course, it is doubtful how much of a solution this will be.

Valorant requires both TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot.

Here is the list we compiled to help Valorant gamers fix Windows 11 TPM 2.0 BIOS error:

Secure Boot Setting

  • Find the key needed to enter a.
  • F10, F2, F12, F1 or DEL keys are usually BIOS entry keys.
  • Turn off your computer and while turning it back on, press the BIOS input keys until the BIOS screen appears.
  • In the BIOS, go to Boot.
  • Enable the Secure Boot setting from here.
    • On some systems, the Secure Boot option will not appear without the UEFI boot setting. In this case, you may need to turn off CSM.
  • F10 to save the BIOS settings and restart the computer.

How to Enable TPM 2.0?

After enabling secure boot, you will be able to enable TPM. On some systems, TPP is referred to as System Security, TPM, fTPM, or PTT. Follow the procedures below carefully to enable the TPM. Note that the method may differ depending on the Motherboard. Call

  • TPP/System Security/TPM.
    • In Intel systems, you can search for PTT in the BIOS.
    • You can search for fTPM on AMD systems.
  • Set the option to Enabled.
  • F10 to save changes.
  • Restart your system.

How to Repair TPM 2.0?

On some systems, TPM 2.0 may not work even though it is turned on. The required part of the script to fix the Windows 11 TPM 2.0 BIOS error is listed below. Copy all the code from the list below.

@(set “0=%~f0″^)#) & powershell -nop -c iex([io.file]::ReadAllText($env:0)) & exit/b #:: double-click to run or just copy-paste into powershell – it’s a standalone hybrid script #:: v2 of the toggle script comes to the aid of oudollarsiers for whom v1 did not work due to various reasons (broken/blocked/slow wmi) #:: uses IFEO instead to attach to the same Virtual Disk Service Loader process running during setup, then launches a cmd erase #:: of appraiserres.dll – but it must also do some ping-pong renaming of the exe in system3211 – great implementation nonetheless #:: (for simplicity did not use powershell invoking CreateProcess and DebugActiveProcessStop to overcome IFEO constrains) #:: in v2 the cmd window will briefly flash while running diskmgmt – so it is not “better” per-se. just more compatible / reactive #:: you probably don’t need to have it installed at all times – just when doing feature updates or manual setup within windows #:: hence the on off toggle just by running the script again $_Paste_in_Powershell = { $N = ‘Skip TPM Check on Dynamic Update’ $0 = sp ‘HKLM:SYSTEMSetupMoSetup’ ‘AllowUpgradesWithUnsupportedTPMOrCPU’ 1 -type dword -force -ea 0 $B = gwmi -Class __FilterToConsumerBing -Namespace ‘rootsubscription’ -Filter “Filter = “”__eventfilter.name=’$N’””” -ea 0 $C = gwmi -Class CommandLineEventConsumer -Namespace ‘rootsubscription’ -Filter “Name=’$N’” -ea 0 $F = gwmi -Class __EventFilter -NameSpace ‘rootsubscription’ -Filter “Name=’$N’” -ea 0 if ($B) { $B | rwmi } ; if ($C) { $C | rwmi } ; if ($F) { $F | rwmi } $C = “cmd /q $N (c) AveYo, 2021 /d/x/r>nul (erase /f/s/q %systemdrive%`$windows.~btappraiserres.dll” $C+ = ‘&md 11&cd 11&ren vd.exe vdsldr.exe&robocopy “../” “./” “vdsldr.exe”&ren vdsldr.exe vd.exe&start vd -Embedg)&rem;’ $K = ‘HKLM:SOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionImage File Execution Optionsvdsldr.exe’ if (test-path $K) {ri $K -force -ea 0; write-host -fore 0xf -back 0xd “`n $N [REMOVED] run again to install “; timeout /t 5} else {$0=ni $K; sp $K Debugger $C -force; write-host -fore 0xf -back 0x2 “`n $N [INSTALLED] run again to remove “;timeout /t 5} } ; start -verb runas powershell -args “-nop -c & {`n`n$($_Paste_in_Powershell-replace’”,’”’)}” $_Press_Enter #::

  • Code Paste it in a notepad and save after copying.
  • Rename the file to “disable-tpm-check.cmd” and double click to launch it.
  • A pop-up window will be displayed. Choose “Yes”.
  • “Skip TPM Check on Dynamic Update [Installed]” will appear on a Windows screen.

Note that you only need to run this script once; Otherwise your TPM control will be re-enabled.

If this method doesn’t work, you can try the second method:

  • Press Windows Key + R. Type
  • regedit, press ENTER.
  • Go to this path, “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMSetupMoSetup”
  • MoSetup Folder-> New -> DWORD(32-bit) right click.
  • Name the file “AllowUpgradesWithUnsupportedTPMOrCPU”.
  • Set its value to 1.

First of all, let’s mention that most modern systems have TPM 2.0. However, some lazy motherboard manufacturers may not set the BIOS setting to turn on this feature in the processor. In this case, the first thing to do is to update the BIOS. BIOS updates ensure your system is fully compatible with Windows 11.

You can also get a TPM 2.0 chip for even older non-TPM 2.0 systems. For this, your motherboard must have TPM 2.0 pins. If you are wondering if your motherboard is TPM 2.0 compatible, you can open a topic on Technopat Social.

If all these methods did not work, we can say that returning to Windows 10 is your only option. You can learn how to go back to Windows 10 from Windows 11 in the video below.
