A team of researchers from Ericsson and the royal college in London conducted a futuristic study of how 5G technology could be used in the future.
We’re closer to 5G connection technology than ever before. This next-generation wireless networking technology will serve many different kinds of inland people, from autonomous vehicles to virtual reality, from intelligent cities to robots that are always connected to a network. In what other areas can we use the best 5G technology? Ericsson has come together to imagine the futurist practices of 5G with researchers from the royal college in London.
The team first focused on transferring physical skills between networks using technology and named it ‘Internet of talents’. For example; motion, and a virtual reality head that senses the press, a surgeon can perform an operation by directing a robot on the other side of the world. It sounds like a fuzzy idea, but it will not be a surprise that it will happen in the future.
Apart from that, thanks to 5G, music education can be given with networked gloves. Technology can record muscle movements that occur when a piano master plays the composition. Gloves developed with high-end technology can teach by pretending to be muscular movements of the piano master who is learning to play the piano with these muscle movements.
Of course, these are just a few examples of what 5G technology can do in the future. At the ‘real’ light speed, the internet will be transmitted with almost zero delays from one end of the world to the other. It will be possible to control objects far away in real time.
