Google continues to update Sheets with new features and capabilities. The service can now automatically correct formulas for users independently and intelligently.
This feature is a continuation of a related capability from last year where Google Sheets would automatically suggest formulas to you. Formula fixes will now help you write complex mathematical and logical calculations more confidently with this latest update.
Formula fixes are context sensitive and allow users to troubleshoot easily. When Sheets detects that a formula can be improved, it presents a suggestion box with suggested changes and relevant details. You can then choose to accept or reject the suggestion.
Formula corrections are enabled by default. On the other hand, it is possible to change this by going to Tools > Enable Formula Corrections. While the functionality is available for Google Workspace, G Suite, and Google personal accounts, it may take time to activate for everyone.
