The video card competition is getting hotter day by day. With the involvement of Intel in the race, it is a little difficult to predict the new actions that the company will take. However, as Intel continues to develop new models, NVIDIA is developing the RTX 2060 12 GB version as a response to its arch-rival AMD.
Four different Gigabyte branded GeForce RTX 2060 12 GB models were detected in EEC reports. These models, as always, are the Gaming and WindForce models. The full model codes of the four graphics cards are as follows;
- GV-N2060OC-12GD (Gigabyte 2060 12GB Gaming OC)
- GV-N2060D6-12GD (Gigabyte 2060 12GB Gaming)
- GV-N2060WF2OC-12GD (Gigabyte 2060 12GB WindForce 2X OC)
- GV-N2060WF2-12GD (Gigabyte 2060 12GB WindForce 2X)
RTX 2060 was first introduced to users in 2019. According to the list, NVIDIA will launch the variant that will contain 12 GB of memory 2 years later. The EEC list provides very strict information. It is not clear if any other upgrades have been made other than the memory upgrade, as the model codes do not give any details about the features. However, it is possible to encounter a new GPU configuration or even a cropped version of the RTX 3060.
Finally, it should be noted that the new variant is expected to go on retail sale as of December 7, with a price of around $ 300.
