We continue our recommended game series that we started last week without slowing down. This week, we will introduce you to Paladins, which has attracted attention with more than 25 million players.
As Techannels team, we announced last week that we will share the free but high-quality games available on Steam with our valuable followers, and we mentioned our first referral game. Now there is a new game, which is free but with more than 25 million players: Paladins.
Developed by Hi-Rez Studio, Paladins first met with gamers in 2015 but is still an alternative for gamers. Paladins don’t have a long game time, so it provides a fast and exciting gaming experience without bored gamers. With its fantastic characters and weapons, Paladins is one of the games where you can have fun with your friends.
Why this week’s free Steam game advice is Paladins?
Paladins is a first-person shooter game where two different teams of 5 people are formed and these teams face each other. Many gamers compare Paladins to Overwatch. This is a rightful metaphor, but Overwatch is a bit more difficult to access because of both the high price and system requirements. Of course, you can buy paid packages at Paladins, but that is up to you.
Paladins has 3 different game modes. These modes; Siege, Team Deathmatch and Onslaught. Siege mode is the most basic model of the game. In this mode, you have to defeat opponents and advance a vehicle with dynamites to the point of the opponent team called “Base”. The point of this mode is that you should not only focus on your competitors. If you are not careful while you are focusing on your opponents, a good strategy of your opponent may cause you to lose the game.
Team Deathmatch mode is almost identical to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive’s “Death Match” mode, which is one of the classic games of our lives. In this mode you have a team of 5 people and you have to beat your opponents. The first team to manage 40 enemies is the winner of the game.
Onslaught mode also has a center determined by the game and you need to take advantage of this center. You earn points for every enemy you kill and if you reach 400 points, your team is the winner. If 400 points are not reached within 10 minutes, the team with the highest score at that moment will be deemed the winner.
