Call of Duty: Warzone mission Hunt for Adler did not go as planned, and progression issues prevented players from enjoying Black Ops Cold War themed content. Raven Software is offering a free Adler “Tortured Rescued” skin to everyone who logs in before the end of Season 3, with an apology gift.
Raven Software made the announcement late April 30 and thanked the players for being patient with the issues and attending the limited-time event.
These issues, as well as progress not being tracked when trying to complete the event, had to be found in the game beyond where intelligence players could actually go. The mission began after a major incident to kick off the season, including a nuclear bomb dropped on Verdansk.
This served as the entrance for the Black Ops Cold War characters and plot topics to enter Call of Duty: Warzone and largely took over the Modern Warfare content found in the game. We will see similar transitions in the future as Activision uses Warzone as the ongoing Call of Duty batdollarse royale game rather than changing it from year to year. While the story likely doesn’t follow the same rule as outline games, it’s still nice to see familiar faces.
Adler was one of the new characters introduced in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, and played an important role in the game’s twisty story. Returning characters like Jason Hudson and Frank Woods joined him.
