Yearn Finance creator Andre Cronje shared a negative tweet on Twitter about 2 altcoins, Chainlink and Polygon. The prominent name in the decentralized finance (DeFi) field received very different reactions with his tweets.
Cronje blames supporters of two altcoin projects
Yearn Finance (YFI) founder Andrew Cronje has accused both Chainlink and Polygon’s supporters of using “cancellation tactics” against users who criticize their platform. Regarding this, he states that unless a community can discuss the flaws, they “can have a bad time in the long run”.
The reaction of the Twitter community has varied on many levels. Some directly opposed this idea of Cronje, and some participated in various ways. Many also shared other crypto communities that they think share the same qualities. The founder then quoted his tweet and asked if Rune would be added to the list.

Not only that, Cronje shared two different posts on this topic on his personal blog. Their posts are titled: “DeFi building sucks” and “DeFi building sucks (Part 2)”. In both of his posts, Cronje talks about having both good and bad sides in the field. He also states in both posts that his aim is to “improve himself”. Still, the young developer talks about how unfriendly crypto backers can be.
Meanwhile, one of the most influential people in the DeFi field, Cronje’s tweet continues to draw backlash from the community. Cronje is known for creating the Keep3rV1 project as well as Yearn Finance.
