Bitcoin and crypto currency interpretation from Hayrettin Karaman: The state should accept it as money!
Theology professor Hayrettin Karaman recently answered a question about whether Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies can be used as currency. Hayrettin Karaman, in an article he wrote in Yeni Şafak, from one of his readers, “Sir, greetings, I have a question for you. Can virtual money Bitcoin be issued for gold and be used in the market? Or can speculators trade in this system? I myself ran an interest-free fund for 15 years, I wonder how can we be beneficial to people? ” answer the question.
Hayrettin Karaman said that a real or virtual asset to be used as money should have a solid equivalent and the state should accept it as money. Hayrettin Karaman emphasized that, in the continuation of his statements, “If these racks are found, it could be what you said”. Hayrettin Karaman made the following statements in his remarks:
Even though these racks are not available, the digital-virtual coins that are issued are not money, they are open to abuse. If you want to be beneficial to people and you have a qualification and training in a certain commercial field, you establish a company, open this company to the public, collect capital, use this capital in halal and permissible businesses by asking scholars, and investing capital owners participate in profit and loss.
