Beats today announced their newest wireless earbuds, the Beats Fit Pro. The new product enters the Apple-owned brand’s lineup between Studio Buds and Powerbeats Pro/Powerbeats, which launched earlier this year. The product features active noise canceling, IPX4 water and sweat resistance, and up to 7 hours of continuous playback or a total of 30 hours when you include the case charges.
The striking thing in the design of the Fit Pro earphones is the wingtips. Beats says it did a lot of research and user testing to get the right material and level of flexibility. The wingtips are designed to help the earbuds stay in place in your ears, no matter how strenuous your workout routine.
The Fit Pro earbuds contain the H1 chip, so they offer one-step pairing, automatic syncing between your iCloud devices, automatic switching between Apple hardware products, and more. Additionally, amic head tracking is available for spatial audio. Beats has also integrated the brand new skin detection sensor, which was just released in the third generation AirPods, into this product.
The noise canceling system is the same as in AirPods Pro. In this sense, you can expect the product to be quite effective in terms of breaking your connection with the outside world. With both ANC and transparency mode turned off, the Fit Pros continue to use Apple’s Adaptive EQ to optimize audio performance based on your ear shape.
Beats will offer the Fit Pro headphones with a price tag of $ 199.99, in four colors: black, white, gray and purple/pink. The earphones, whose pre-orders have started, will be shipped on November 5.
