ROG Thor 1600W Titanium

ASUS’ first power supply to earn 80 PLUS® Titanium certification, this model shows more than 90% efficiency between 10% and full load. This ultimate efficiency is achieved through a digital control design that can handle the loads on high-end gaming or workstation PCs with extreme precision. Gallium nitrate solid state components are also used in the circuit design of this power supply. This high-capacity power supply thus offers an incredible 93.54% efficiency under 100% load.

The biggest obstacle for a power supply to continue to provide stable power over time is heat, reducing the life of a power supply by causing component wear and failure. The ROG Thor 1600W Titanium power supply provides an advantage in this area by generating less heat thanks to its high efficiency. The comprehensive cooling design takes this advantage even further. Large ROG heatsinks form the basis of this approach. These heatsinks, with their above-average heat sinks and surface areas, cool internal circuits and components, prolonging the life of heat-sensitive parts.

As the load level increases and the temperature rises on the ROG Thor 1600W, 1200W, and 1000W models, a new 135mm fan with the latest axis technology fan design first used in custom ROG Strix display cards kicks in and delivers cool airflow. Thanks to the smooth canadollarsar, compact fan housing and outer barrier ring, more airflow is provided at every speed level. Moreover, there is no increase in noise level. The ROG Thor 850W Platinum model features the classic Wing-blade design to establish the optimal balance of airflow and noise at this capacity.

This attention to cooling components ensures that all power supplies in the new ROG Thor family are Lambda A++ certified. This certification, issued by the independent testing organization Cybenetics, requires meeting stringent noise performance standards. To qualify for this certification, power supplies must not exceed 15 dBa during the Cybenetics test. Meeting these standard yellows, ROG Thor 1000W, 1200W and 1600W draw attention to the series as the quietest models in their class.

ROG Thor Platinum II series

The new ROG Thor Platinum II series power supplies share a wealth of features with the top-of-the-line 1600W model. With capacities of 850 W, 1000 W and 1200 W, these models are all 80 PLUS Platinum certified and all use new 135 mm fans with PWM control and double bearings. The outer layer features a mirror-rimmed OLED power display, while Aura RGB LED lighting adds an assertive and colorful look that can be synchronized with the rest of the system via Aura Sync. Enriched with these features, the impressive power supply series provides the power capacity suitable for every system for users. A 10-year warranty is given for the basic components of these products.
