An armed attack was carried out on the gypsum factory in Nangarhar province in eastern Afghanistan. 7 workers lost their lives in the attack.
Nangarhar Police Chief Friday Gul said that Himmet Nangarhar’s gypsum factory in Surhrod district was attacked with guns by unidentified people. Himmet announced that 7 workers lost their lives in the attack.
No one claimed the attack
Nilüfer Aziz, Deputy of Nangarhar Provincial Council, noted that the workers who lost their lives in the attack were from the Hazara Shiites and that this work might have been done by terrorist organizations.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
Assassinations started to increase
Assassination attacks have increased recently across the country. Today, a female doctor working in the state hospital in Nangarhar’s central city of Jalalabad died in the bomb attack.
